MINERAL FABRIC
Les collections « Mineral fabric » son créés à partir d’un matériau composé de deux matières, une végétale, le lin et une matière minérale, le plâtre. Le tissu minéral se fissure et se transforme, il se drape sur une structure en plâtre pour prendre des formes aléatoires.

Chaque pièce de la collection a une forme unique.

La confection des pièces est faite à Bruxelles.

Les produits sont réalisés en petites séries ou sur commande.
Les matériaux :
Le plâtre est un des composants le plus fréquent dans nos habitations, utilisé pour ses capacités isolantes acoustiques et thermiques et sa propriété ignifuge, c’est un matériau au pH neutre, écologique et entièrement recyclable.
Le Lin est une fibre végétale écologique cultivée en Europe qui ne demande pas d’eau et d'intrants, ses aspects environnementaux sont caractérisés par un triptyque « naturel - écologique - économique ».
Le tissu minéral peut avoir plusieurs aspects visuels à travers des techniques d’ennoblissement textile qui donnent une valeur ajoutée à une l’étoffe. Il existe différents procédés qui permettent de modifier son toucher, son aspect ou ses propriétés, comme la teinture du fil ou l’enduction d’effets sur la surface.

The space is delimited by contours. He creaks, sometimes whispers. He shows and hides, offers and maske. Very solid, it has an element of vulnerability that escapes it. "Autonomous divers" connects the works that inhabit the room. In the space of the Moonens Foundation, the artists offer radical interventions in the form of installations and performances. The result blurs the border between 2D and 3D, transforms architecture, plays on the ambiguity of materials. The works meet and enter circulation with the place of exhibition.
